When I visited Taj Mahal in February, there are only half day tickets morning to afternoon and afternoon to evening. Please confirm this from website. Practically you can go in the morning and stay till evening. Secondly there is one ticket for entry and another one for monument inside. Better to buy composite tickets. Save screen shot of tickets on mobile before entering as signal is weak inside sometimes.
