Authorities searched a vehicle on a rural road outside Minneapolis on Sunday that they believe had been used by the man wanted in the shootings of two Democratic lawmakers.

A gunman posing as a police officer killed the senior Democratic state assemblywoman and her husband on June 14, 2025 in an apparent "politically motivated assassination".
