City and state officials say they are prepared for one of the largest protests in Seattle since President Donald Trump began his second term.

Those millions included an estimated 200,000 people in Los Angeles, 100,000 in Philadelphia, 70,000 in Seattle and over 50,000 in New York.

Organizers of the “No Kings” demonstrations said millions had marched in hundreds of events. In Oregon, tens of thousands of people gathered in downtown Portland for two large protests -- one that began in Tom McCall Waterfront Park and the other at the Oregon Convention Center.

Protests spread across the United States on Saturday as the president surveyed a military parade through the streets of the capital.

Tens of thousands marched down 5th Avenue, with no reports of property damage, according to the Seattle Police Department. It was over 1.5 miles of people.
