The 2025 NFL Draft is quickly approaching, and many NFL teams are hoping to fill major needs in Round 1. If there is one team that can take their pick of the best player available, it is the defending Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles.

The Eagles enter this season as the defending champions after dominating the Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX in February.

The Eagles could still potentially renegotiate Goedert's contract in order to keep him in Philadelphia next season. If not, another team in search of a veteran tight end could be willing to give up some draft capital in order and take on Goedert's cap hit in the hope he will enjoy a healthy campaign next fall.
