BOSTON — Even Aaron Judge, who is putting up historic numbers with the Yankees once again this season, isn’t immune to a sudden slump. The superstar slugger was 1-for-12 with nine strikeouts against the Red Sox over the weekend, a big reason why the Yankees were held down on offense and swept for the first time all year.

As a result, the Yankees took a 2-0 loss to the Red Sox Sunday afternoon at Fenway Park to complete a three-game sweep at the hands of their rivals. It is the first time they have been swept in a series this season.
