That's what happened with Darian DeVries, who came to West Virginia from Drake last spring and is now on his way to Indiana. The move may have been expected by some, but it still caught many of West Virginia's players off guard.

Darian DeVries will succeed Mike Woodson as Indiana's head coach, the school announced Tuesday. DeVries just wrapped up his only season at West Virginia and was also in the mix for the opening at Iowa,
