The Freedom Flotilla Coalition campaign group said Friday that one of its ships bound for the Gaza Strip, carrying aid and dozens of activists, was attacked in international waters by drones in the middle of the night off Malta,

The Freedom Flotilla Coalition said its vessel Conscience, carrying aid intended for Gaza, was hit by drones in waters off the coast of Malta.

A human rights group operating the ship blamed a drone attack for the explosions, which caused a fire on the vessel. The crew was safe and remained on board.
