At least 85 Palestinians were killed while seeking aid in one of the deadliest days for aid-seekers since the war began, Gaza's Health Ministry said.

It is one of the highest reported death tolls among repeated recent cases in which people have been killed while looking for aid.

The Israeli military on Sunday issued an evacuation order for a new area of central Gaza, causing panic among Palestinians afraid that Israel was set to expand its ground invasion of the enclave.
