Joining the lineup now means shaking up the rotation at DH, first base, and catcher, especially for Ben Rice, who emerged as a late-season staple. Manager Aaron Boone confirmed Rice will “likely get time at catcher as well as first base and DH” as Stanton and Paul Goldschmidt rotate for rest.
