Alphabet’s Google Revives Push into Smart Glasses with AdHawk Acquisition
AdHawk was founded in 2017 and manufactures the necessary software, hardware, and chips that determine where a user is looking. The startup also launched its own glasses called MindLink, while it also sells the technology to other manufacturers.
The potential deal includes a contingent payment of $15m, subject to AdHawk meeting certain performance benchmarks.
