Alaskans are responding after President Donald Trump changed the name of North America's tallest peak from Denali back to Mount McKinley.

The vote came a week after Trump on his first day in office signed an executive order calling for the name to revert to Mount McKinley.

Alaska House members passed a resolution Monday urging President Trump not to rename Mount Denali to Mount Mckinley. Trump signed an executive order on his first day in office that undid a 2015 order from former President Obama naming North America’s highest peak Mount Denali.
