Additional remains have been recovered from the icy Potomac River as recovery efforts continue following the deadly crash involving an American Airlines passenger plane and an Army helicopter Wednesday night.

Officials gave an update on water recovery efforts days after American Airlines Flight 5342 collided with a U.S. Army UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter and plunged into the Potomac River. As of Sunday, the remains of 55 victims have been positively identified from the crash.
