WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H has addressed the possibility of seeing SummerSlam host Cardi B step into a WWE ring, admitting that if she wants to wrestle, it would be difficult to stop her. The multi-platinum selling artist will host the first-ever two-night SummerSlam at MetLife Stadium on August 2nd and 3rd.
WWE has been very unpredictable ever since Triple H took over the creative regime. Recently, he shocked the world by making Jey Uso lose the World Heavyweight Championship to Gunther on RAW.
The 53-year-old announced on June 1 that WWE was letting him go with his contract expiring. By Saturday, he was back, interfering in the main event of Money in the Bank to help Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso beat John Cena and Logan Paul.
Problems don't cease to come Triple H's way as he now faces criticism from fans for not coming up with a layered creative segment for Gunther.
WWE has thrived under Triple H's creative regime for a while, and the company has taken a few drastic decisions in 2025.
So with Cardi B hosting SummerSlam, what can we expect from that event specifically, and could we see her in the ring potentially?
After deciding to move WrestleMania 42 out of New Orleans, WWE will bring its flagship event back to Las Vegas.
Christopher Killings' statement refers to what is believed to be a last-second decision made by the WWE, which released Ron Killings on June 1. According to Fightful reporter Sean Ross Sapp, the decision to re-sign him was made within 72 hours by WWE’s President Nick Khan after fans chanted “We want Truth” throughout the week.
