Tropical Storm Dexter, the fourth named storm of the 2025 hurricane season, was a bit weaker Tuesday morning as forecasters continue to track it and two other disturbances in the Atlantic Ocean, according to the National Hurricane Center. None of the systems pose an immediate threat to Louisiana.

Dexter was moving northeast at 12 mph with 40 mph maximum sustained winds. According to the National Hurricane Center, Dexter is a bit weaker but is forecast to re-intensify as post-tropical cyclone over the next couple of days.
