ARLINGTON, Va. (7News) — The Virginia Democratic and Republican primaries are set for June 17, but early voting begins on May 2. Seats for the governor and lieutenant governor are up for grabs, along with several House of Delegates seats and many other local races.

Virginia has 45 days of early voting. That's one of the longest in the country, and it means voting for the November general election will start in September. It also means voting for the June primary starts this week.
