Yosemite National Park staffers hung an American flag upside down from the park's El Capitan summit over the weekend to protest recent layoffs by the Trump administration.

As visitors descended on Yosemite National Park to witness its iconic “Firefall” event, an upside-down American flag was hung on a park summit to protest the ongoing federal job cuts carried out by President Trump's administration.

Demonstrators unfurled the flag against El Capitan to protest the Trump administration's cuts to the National Park Service.
