Anthony Davis prefers to remain with the Dallas Mavericks for the rest of the season, according to NBA insider Marc Stein of The Stein Line. The Los Angeles Lakers traded Davis to the Mavericks last season in the blockbuster Luka Dončić trade.
Anthony Davis is expected to miss the remainder of the Mavericks’ schedule leading into the All-Star break. Dallas resumes play Feb. 20 against the Minnesota Timberwolves, though no firm target date has been established for Davis’ return to game action.
NBA insider Tim MacMahon clarified that Anthony Davis himself does not necessarily agree to be traded from the Mavs.
