Another winter storm could hit Massachusetts this weekend, but it's proving hard to predict. Here's what we know about the Cape Cod, Islands forecast.
Batten down the hatches! A nasty nor’easter is expected to batter the Cape and Islands this weekend, according to meteorologists who say the bomb cyclone could dump several inches of snow and spark strong wind gusts and coastal flooding.
The Boston-to-Providence corridor is looking at a few flakes, if any. But along the coast, the storm could still bring gusty wind and flooded roadways.
New York and most of the Northeast will likely be spared the worst of a new winter storm this weekend that still may clip Cape Cod and eastern New England after also making conditions worse across parts of North Carolina and Virginia as it travels north.
Plus, with "well-below freezing temperatures" the snow from the past weekend isn't going anywhere, a forecaster said.
