Maryland House committee passes Gov. Moore’s advisory panel redistricting map

Legislators in Maryland introduced a bill Tuesday that proposed Congressional redistricting. The bill would add Maryland to the number of states that have undergone mid-decade congressional redistricting ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.

Maryland’s House of Delegates could vote this week on a bill that would add a ballot question this fall asking voters if new congressional district maps should be used in 2028 and 2030.
