BYU’s win streak has come to an end. The Cougars were defeated 85-74 by No. 20 Arizona Tuesday night at the Marriott Center, falling to 15-7 on the season and 6-5 in Big 12 play. Arizona’s offense was elite. The Wildcats proved especially potent in Provo, shooting 49.2% from the field, 38.1% from 3-point range and 88.2% from the free throw line.

BYU stood toe to toe with No. 20 Arizona. In the end, the Wildcats offensive efficiency was too much to overcome. Put more simply, the Cougars needed stops. Couldn’t get them. It also didn’t help that BYU went seven minutes without a field goal late in the second half
