A mini-thaw on tap for the first half of the work week, while some rain/snow showers are possible in the days ahead

We’ll remain cloudy in the midst of an upper-level disturbance pushing through. This could generate a few showers in the morning. However, dry air will limit precipitation. All of the day will be filled with clouds and with another system Sunday night, there is another chance for some rain but again, dry air will be a factor.

The warmer air is starting to move in and we are giving you the First Alert to plenty of sunshine and warmth to start off the week.

Though the day will start off mostly cloudy, chilly, and dry, we have a First Alert for the possibility of some widely scattered showers returning late Sunday afternoon and evening as a disturbance moves through the Deep South.
