HBO has released the first look at the comedian and actor in costume as the half-giant and Hogwarts groundskeeper Rubeus Hagrid for its upcoming "Harry Potter" series.

This marks a notable change from the movies, which never outright stated when they were set, but also never made any effort to look like it was taking place in the 1990s.
