Newly promoted Sunderland has signed 19-year-old striker Marc Guiu on a season-long loan from Chelsea ahead of the new Premier League campaign.

Chelsea's young striker Marc Guiu was in Wearside on Wednesday morning for a medical as Sunderland near a loan agreement. The clubs settled terms for the 19-year-old last week and the Black Cats are now striving to include the Spanish player in a group of forwards already strengthened by the arrivals of Chemsdine Talbi and Simon Adingra.
