The Kansas City Chiefs are on the cusp of winning three consecutive Super Bowls, a feat that has never been accomplished in NFL history. Patrick Mahomes has already gained ground on Tom Brady in the nebulous GOAT debates and if he pulls it off against the Philadelphia Eagles the gulf will get even smaller.

Andy Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs are on the brink of history. They are only one win away from becoming the first team in NFL history to win three straight Super Bowl s and to make it sweeter, the veteran head coach can achieve the feat by beating the team that once fired him.

Does 3-Peat Push Andy Reid Over Bill Belichick?

Andy Reid has taken the Kansas City Chiefs to the Super Bowl yet again after knocking out Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills 32-29 in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday.

Head coaches Andy Reid of the Kansas City Chiefs and Nick Sirianni of the Philadelphia Eagles are set to face off in the Super Bowl for the second time in three years. Of course, that last matchup, which capped off the 2022 season, saw the Chiefs narrowly win 38-35.

But another legendary coach, Bill Belichick, has what he thinks is a better idea of what to do with the trophy going forward: Ditch Lombardi and instead name it after the greatest
