Jets defenseman Neal Pionk is considered week-to-week because of a lower-body injury, with coach Scott Arniel saying they will keep Pionk out because they "need him for the long run here."

Pionk had played through the injury for some time but the Jets are shutting him down now with the playoffs in mind.
