After 40 years of excavations, famed archaeologists Arlen and Diane Chase, husband and wife, finally uncovered the royal tomb of Te K’ab Chaak, the founder and first ruler of the magnificent Mayan city of Caracol in Belize.

Found in the ancient city of Caracol, the tomb contained a rare jade mask, ceramics, and jewelry often linked to the Maya ruling class.
