Donald Trump has followed through on his threat to sue Rupert Murdoch and his media companies over the Wall Street Journal‘s report on a bawdy letter in his name that was included in an album given to Jeffrey Epstein for his 50th birthday in 2003.

Following The Wall Street Journal ‘s bombshell report on a birthday letter Donald Trump allegedly wrote to Jeffrey Epstein, the president sued the newspaper's parent company, News Corp., Dow Jones (its publisher), two reporters for the Journal, and billionaire media mogul Rupert Murdoch, who owns News Corp. owner.

The lawsuit comes a day after the newspaper published a story reporting on President Trump's ties to wealthy financier Jeffrey Epstein. The president is seeking at least $10 billion in damages.
