The Seattle Seahawks are adding Andrew Janocko as quarterbacks coach and John Benton as offensive line coach, NFL Network and ESPN reported Monday.

Kubiak could bring a philosophical shift and staff changes as the Seahawks' offense tries to highlight its top players more.

Head man Mike Macdonald said he was going to give the new play caller the latitude to bring his own offensive assistants.

After the team parted ways with Ryan Grubb, the search for an offensive coordinator came to an end this week when the Seahawks hired former New Orleans Saints offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak. Before his season with the Saints, he was the offensive coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings in 2021.

The Seattle Seahawks, in their search for a new offensive coordinator, could employ a rather unusual tactic when it comes to the position. NFL insider Albert Breer is reporting the Seahawks are considering splitting the position between two coaches – a run game coordinator paired with a passing game coordinator.

Klint Kubiak looks to bring a spark to the Seattle Seahawks' offense. And he's bringing it from a rival NFL team.

This is minor news but this is still another coaching staff departure for the Seattle Seahawks. Chuckie Keeton, who was hired last season as an offensive assistant, has left his role in Seattle to take the same job as part of Mike Vrabel’s first coaching staff with the New England Patriots.
