Two people died and a child was hurt in separate incidents in the Keys during Florida’s two-day lobster miniseason, which has ended.

The unidentified mariner found more than 20 large, brick-shaped, black packages in the waters near Islamorada, deputies said.

The driver ran a stop sign at the end of Card Sound Road at 62 miles per hour, well above the 45-mph speed limit, while reaching down to the car’s floor in search of his dropped cellphone.

This recall affects Puerto Rico. It does NOT impact Alaska, Arkansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont or Washington.
