Tennessee softball will host its 20th consecutive NCAA regional, this time as the No. 7 national seed in the tournament. The Lady Vols (40-14) will play Miami (Ohio) in the first game Friday (1:30 p.m. ET, SEC Network), and Ohio State (43-12-1) and North Carolina (40-15) will play at 4 p.m. on ESPNU.

The Lady Volunteers earned the 7 seed overall and top seed in the Knoxville Regional. Tennessee will host 2-seed Ohio State, 3-seed North Carolina, and 4-seed Miami (OH). Tennessee and Alabama are both hosting for the 20th consecutive season. Both programs are tied for the longest hosting streak in the nation.

Tennessee softball lost the series to Texas A&M to conclude the regular season. Tennessee will be the No. 4 seed and play May 9 in the quarterfinals.
