The Miami Dolphins selected Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers with the 231 pick in the seventh round of the 2025 NFL Draft. A three-year starter for Texas, Ewers completed roughly 65-percent of his passes for 9,128 yards and 68 touchdowns. He also threw 24 interceptions.

Quinn Ewers reportedly turned down $8 million to transfer for the 2025 season. Instead, he opted for the draft. The Texas quarterback, who made roughly $6 million playing in college, will make far less than that in the NFL on his rookie contract.
