The National Weather Service in Springfield on Sunday confirmed an EF-2 tornado hit Phelps County and Rolla on Friday night. The tornado was on the ground for 8 minutes and traveled about 8.7 miles. T

The National Weather Service has confirmed three tornados so far from Friday’s severe weather. According to NWS, the three tornados were: From Villa Ridge to Fox Creek (EF 2) From near More Mill to just south of Arnold (EF 2) From north of Bourbon to just south of Union (EF 1) The NWS says the EF-2 tornado that developed near Village Creek moved over 13 miles northeast with maximum estimated winds of 130 mph.

The National Weather Service has confirmed that an EF1 tornado touched down near Donegal, Westmoreland County, on Sunday as severe weather rolled through the area. National Weather Service storm surveyors found damage consistent with an EF1 tornado in the area from Bear Rocks to Acme to Donegal.
