Frontier currently offers four flights a week between South Bend and its hub in Denver, though that will end Sept. 9. The carrier first launched service to the northern Indiana city in October 2012.

What makes it unique is it's not actually a rink -- it's a trail. South Bend, Indiana is home to Howard Park. At the park, you can find a 13,000 square-foot ice trail wrapped around a playground.
