Update: Tiger Fire in Amador County progresses to 65% containment
Tiger Fire initially started 12:43 p.m. Aug. 8 in Amador County, California. It has burned 118 acres after being active for four days. As of Tuesday evening, 65% of this fire was brought under containment. However, the cause is still being investigated.
The blaze sparked at 12:43 p.m. in Pioneer, Amador County, and was spreading at a moderate rate, Cal Fire said.
