The Dallas Cowboys are bringing back a familiar face to help bolster their defense in 2025, agreeing to terms with veteran pass rusher Dante Fowler on a one-year, $8 million deal, according to NFL Media .

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said they would be quiet in free agency, and so far they have with three minor additions.

The Cowboys have a few key players hitting the market, including well-known veterans like DeMarcus Lawrence, Jourdan Lewis and Rico Dowdle. Dallas has also re-signed some playmakers, mainly defensive tackle Osa Odighizuwa. The team also still has another weapon to extend in pass rusher Micah Parsons.
