Black on the Block, held in Detroit on Sunday, aimed to expand opportunities for and give exposure to Black-owned businesses in the area.

A coalition of young Detroiters, mostly ages 25-30, gathered at the Church of the Messiah in Detroit to highlight gun violence, and advocate for ways to stop it from happening across the city.
