COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A suspect is now in custody for a double shooting at a family entertainment center in Cobb County over the weekend, police confirmed to Channel 2 Cobb County Bureau Chief Michele Newell. Police say Trayvon Thomas has been charged in the shooting at Main Event entertainment center on Sunday night.

Police say the investigation shows that there was one suspected shooter who left the scene before officers arrived.

COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Two people are in the hospital after a double shooting inside of a family entertainment center in Cobb Couty. The shooting happened Sunday night at the popular Main Event hangout spot on Cobb Parkway, near entrances to Interstates 285 and 75.

Just after 9 p.m., officers responded to a 911 call reporting shots fired at 3101 Cobb Parkway, where Main Event, an entertainment venue with arcade games, bowling, and laser tag, is located. When they arrived, they found two victims shot inside the business.

Cobb County police are working to learn what led up to a shooting that left two people injured at a popular entertainment center on Sunday night.

Cobb County police confirmed that two people were shot at Main Event on Sunday night. Sgt. Eric Smith told Channel 2 Action News that police got calls about shots fired 3101 Cobb Parkway around 9 p.m.

Two men are recovering in the hospital after someone shot them at a five-year-old's birthday party. It happened at Main Event in Cobb County.

Police are still working to track down the person who shot two people at the Main Event along Cobb Parkway Sunday night.
