Transport for Greater Manchester said travelling by tram was the "best option" to get to Heaton Park. A shuttle bus is also being put on from the Northern Quarter of the city centre. Police officers will be stationed in the area around Heaton Park, as well as in the city centre to help with traffic management, GMP said.

Liam and Noel Gallagher will kick off their homecoming at Heaton Park on Friday, July 11 and Saturday, July 12, before a mid-week performance on Wednesday, 16 July. Then their final two Manchester shows will take place on Saturday, 19 July and Sunday, July 20.
