On Monday, the Green Bay Packers released two-time Pro Bowl cornerback Jaire Alexander. The 28-year-old defender and former first-round pick is, of course, now free to sign wherever he wishes—with some believing that a homecoming should be in the works.

Other established cornerbacks still unsigned include James Bradberry, Stephon Gilmore, Mike Hilton and C.J Henderson. The Dolphins have been linked to Hilton, the former Bengals slot corner, at different times this offseason, and he cannot be ruled out.

The Packers opened their three-day minicamp unveiling a new-look secondary, which includes receiver Bo Melton, who took reps at cornerback.
