Plaintiffs in the class-action lawsuit claim that unintentional Siri sessions were recorded and sold to advertisers. While Apple strongly denied the claim, it's agreed to a $95 million settlement that you might be eligible for.

Apple clarified on Wednesday that it has never sold the data collected by its Siri voice assistant or used it to create marketing profiles, just days after settling a case in which it faced such accusations.

Apple claims it is "committed to protecting user data" and that "privacy is a foundational part" of its processes. In a statement released on 8 January 2025, titled "Our longstanding privacy commitment with Siri," they commented on the allegations.
