The Tampa Bay Lightning have assigned forward Conor Geekie to the Syracuse Crunch, it was announced Tuesday. Geekie, who was acquired by the Lightning in the Mikhail Sergachev trade last summer, has spent the entire year with Tampa Bay thus far, collecting six goals and 12 points in 49 games.
