DETROIT -- Javier Báez hit two dramatic home runs, including a three-run walk-off blast in the 11th inning, to lead the Detroit Tigers to a 10–9 victory over the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday night at Comerica Park. The Tigers (28–15) won a back-and-forth battle over the Red Sox (22–22) and have taken the first two games of the three-game series.

Baez thrilled the hometown fans at Comerica Park with a three-run shot that traveled 392 feet at an exit velocity of 106 miles per hour and a launch angle of 23 degrees. Baez's home run was his fourth of the season and 24th run batted in of the season as the Tigers did their best to take control of a challenging game in the Motor City.
