Mosquitoes in Boone County have tested positive for West Nile Virus, and the Health Department recommends taking personal precautions to avoid mosquito bites and reducing the number of mosquitoes around your home and neighborhood.

BLOOMINGTON — A fourth mosquito pool in McLean County this year has tested positive for the presence of West Nile virus.  The positive test was confirmed Thursday in the 61701 ZIP code area, according to the McLean County Health Department.
