May 10, 2008 · Hi all. New here, and semi new to machining. Been wreaking havoc with metal for years, but getting a little more refined with it now. Anyway, I picked up a Rockwell 14" Lathe, and am looking for any and all info I can collect. Here's a pic of it.

Nov 14, 2016 · In the files section of the Rockwell Lathe group, there is a letter posted that gives the serial number range for each year the lathes were built. It doesn't segrate 10, 11, or 14" lathes. And the serial number is stamped on a metal tag that is affixed on the backside of the bed at the tailstock end. If this tag is removed, you're S.O.L.!!!
