In July of 2021, Fr. Michael began his current ministry of working with postulants at Moreau Seminary at Notre Dame, Indiana. Fr. Jim Gallagher, C.S.C., was born and raised in Indiana and grew up around many Holy Cross priests.

Mar 29, 2022 · Fr. Jim Gallagher, campus ministry director and pastoral resident of Mehling Hall, is leaving UP after being selected by the Province of the Congregation of Holy Cross to serve as Rector of Moreau Seminary at the University of Notre Dame. His last day at UP will be May 2.

Jan 21, 2015 · Fr. James Gallagher will be returning to UP July 1 as the new director of Campus Ministry. Gallagher will replace Fr. Mark DeMott, who served as interim director of Campus Ministry this past year, and is leaving to begin his doctoral studies.

Father James T. Gallagher, CSC is Director of Vocations for the Congregation of Holy Cross, United States Province of Priests and Brothers. Father Gallagher has served as Director of the Office of Vocations since 2009.

Father David grew up in Mt. Carroll, Illinois where his parents Gary and Eileen and his sister Lisa still live. He enjoys hiking, photography and travel. He is a Notre Dame football enthusiast and a Los Angeles Dodgers fan. Father Pinto Paul, C.S.C., serves as the International Director of Holy Cross Family Ministries.
