A female pygmy hippopotamus enjoyed her first outdoor bath some ten days after being born at Berlin Zoo. The young animal, born on May 9 and which yet has to be named, seemingly enjoyed the water by wiggling its ears. According to the zoo, the little hippo is developing well and gaining weight steadily. Pygmy hippos are solitary animals, and mother Debbie will raise the calf on her own, the zoo said in a written statement. #news #hippo #zoo #animals #pygmy #berlin
