🚂 GOLIATH PASSES GOODRINGTON SANDS 🚂 5239 Goliath passes Splashdown Quaywest, Goodrington Sands and Torbay on the Dartmouth Steam Railway, bound for Kingswear. Built in Swindon and completed in 1924, the GWR 5205 Class locomotive was based at Neath for all its working life, hauling heavy coal trains in Wales. It was withdrawn in 1963, sent for scrap in Barry and later bought and restored by the Dartmouth Steam Railway and River Boat Company. The loco re-entered service in 1978 and was named Go
