Bells mark Armistice Day at Morpeth - video THE Clock Tower bells rang out to mark Armistice Day on a rainy November 11 at Morpeth. A short service was conducted in front of the Town Hall by Canon Simon White, Rector of Morpeth, who was accompanied by the Mayor, Coun Rachael Hogg. Hundreds of revellers gathered in the Market Place on a damp and chilly night, some well wrapped up against the weather, and others less so. A few people even brought along their four legged friends to get a taste of the party atmosphere.
